Layouts to Share

Hello in blog land! I have a couple of new layouts I wanted to share. The first one is for Ashley Horton's sketch challenge on Club CK. Here is the sketch:

I immediately thought of windows when I saw the sketch. This sketch was really easy to work with and very adaptable. Here's what I came up with, just in the nick of time:
I doodled the scenes in the windows and colored them with good ol' fashioned crayolas. 'Cause, you know, only the highest end scrappy supplies for me people.

This next one is a layout I created about our first official day of summer break. I should really write some sort of ode to summer break, since I adore it so much. Here's the page:

For this layout, I used strips of white cardstock. I punched random circles, backed it with dimensional tape, slid colorful scraps behind the holes, and added buttons. The journaling is inside the little envelope. Innovative, I know. Ha!

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you are having a blessed and happy day!

  1. Congrats on the new blog! Looks great! I adore those punched circles/buttons in the second one, and of course those windows are so unique, what a creative idea!
